Duck Slide Range is a toss action arcade-style game for mobile platforms. I came up with the idea for this game towards the end of summer 2021. Around that time I started to get back into learning Unity and polishing up on other skills such as Blender. Timing was perfect, as around that time me and others were let go from the company I worked at.
After learning some basics about Swift and other aspects of Xcode and iOS development, I began creating Duck Slide Range in October of that year after learning about how to port games from Unity to Xcode. Originally I figured it would just be a prototype of a game that never really took traction. I just wanted to work on a creative Unity project to continue learning everything around producing a game for mobile platforms. However, most of the friends and strangers I shared the prototype with seemed to have interest in the game and most of them encouraged me to continue.
A little over a year later, right after Christmas of 2022 I finally released the game to the public. It's been a big learning experience and I will continue to support the game and add new content at no extra charge so long as there is interest!
Version 3.0 released November 11, 2024! The game has been removed from Google Play store for now..
